The Ghouls

I had the privilege of reviewing albums from the bands CREATURE REPUBLIC and WORMBOX. After a few days of listening to them (and annoying everyone in the house with loud music) here are my reviews.

CREATURE REPUBLIC:
Alright first off I would like to say that it's rare that I find a band where I like all of the songs, well this is one of those rare times. If you're a fan of bands like THREE DOORS DOWN, FLYLEAF, PARAMORE, you should pick this up. The band has a nice straight up rock sound with female vocals (and yes she can sing very well). To me it's always nice to find a band where the singer and the band sound great together, most of the time it's one or the other.
All in all the only thing I found wrong was not enough songs (only seven on the album) but still worth a buy. So if you ever get a chance, pick up the album and defiantly check them out when they are in your town.

WORMBOX:
Wormbox well..... reminds me of bands like EARTH CRISIS, BILE, BILLY MACK (r.i.p.), so if you like your rock heavy this is for you. The whole album rocks (hard) I was not disappointed once. The band has a good sound, heavy guitars, thunderous drums, bowel shaking bass, and a singer...sorry screamer that could wake the goddamn dead. This is defiantly a band you want to listen to when you need to get pumped up for a fight in the U.F.C., or anything along those lines (not something you could use to put a small child to sleep with or calm yourself down with).
All in all check them out and if you’re at their show get nutty in the pit.

Well I hope I turned you on to some new bands that I would like to see break out big, so until next time,
SEE YOU IN THE PIT,

JINX
